A: The investment ranges from $198,800 up to $500,000. This includes the initial (and currently deeply discounted) franchisee fee of $20,000. We recommend minimum net worth of $750,000 and minimum liquid assets of $400,000.
Q: HOW LONG HAS THE SQUEEZE IN BEEN IN BUSINESS?
A: Decades. The original Squeeze In opened in May 1974 in Truckee, California. We started franchising in 2015.
Q: HOW MANY SQUEEZE IN LOCATIONS ARE THERE?
A: 15: Five family locations and 10 franchise brand partners currently in California and Nevada.
Q: WHERE CAN I OPEN A SQUEEZE IN?
A: We're focused on the western US: Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon are ideal. California is also an excellent market and, there may be room for a couple more franchise brand partners in Nevada.
Q: IS FOOD SERVICE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO BE AWARDED A FRANCHISE?
A: No! As long as you enjoy people, are able to follow systems, have a desire for profitability, successful management and leadership growth, you'll prosper!
Q: AM I REQUIRED TO WORK PERSONALLY IN THE BUSINESS?
A: Not required, but definitely encouraged.
Q: CAN I CHANGE THE MENU?
A: We encourage localizing the menu, however the base menu remains consistent across locations.
Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO OPEN MY SQUEEZE IN?
A: On average, it takes four to six months from the date the franchise agreement is signed. We want to see you up and running within a maximum of 9 months.
